Drop
Your elevation correction at a glance — in MOA, mrad, inches, mm or turret clicks. Tracks the active target and updates live as conditions change. Tap the unit tag to cycle through formats.
dopeology is built around a fully customisable widget screen. Drag, resize and tap any widget to full-screen. Widgets even have simple and detailed displays and tapping to hold on any widget will make it full-screen. Here’s what each one does.
Your elevation correction at a glance — in MOA, mrad, inches, mm or turret clicks. Tracks the active target and updates live as conditions change. Tap the unit tag to cycle through formats.
The windage correction shown as a low/high band for the current wind-speed range. See both ends of the call so you can bracket the conditions across the range.
A full trajectory table at the current wind settings — the card you’d tape to a stock. Choose which columns to show, set the range step, and the row nearest the active range highlights automatically.
A summary of every target at the active location with distance, elevation and windage corrections. Sort by range or name, or follow a saved firing order for stage-style engagements.
A reticle drawing with the point of impact placed at the active range. Reads your scope’s reticle pattern, focal plane and magnification — the impact dot and wind band move with the live solution.
A fully configurable XY chart of the solved trajectory. Plot drop, velocity, Mach, energy, wind drift or spin drift against range or time of flight. The transonic band shades automatically so you can see where stability matters.
The point-blank range and danger space for a given vital-zone size. See the range band over which you can hold dead-on and still hit the vital zone — set the vital-zone height and the corridor is drawn for you.
The bullet’s true downrange picture: vertical drop plotted against horizontal deflection on geometrically faithful axes. Visualise combined drop-and-drift hold-off as range increases.
The drag coefficient against Mach number for the active drag model. A vertical marker shows where the bullet currently sits on the curve — useful for comparing models or checking transonic behaviour.
Predicted vs measured drop from your logged shots. See how well the solve matches reality and spot where to true your data — range, predicted drop, measured drop and the delta, per target.
How much your point of impact shifts when key inputs are off. The widget re-solves the trajectory with each input perturbed and reports the resulting shift — so you know what actually matters at distance.
Sets the wind speed range and direction used by every wind-dependent solve. Drag the dial, set the low/high band, and every other widget recalculates in real time.
Transient "what if" overrides — muzzle velocity, slope angle, powder temperature, Coriolis, spin drift and more — without editing your profile. Tweak, see the result, then discard.
A top-down map of the firing point and targets at the active location. See every target’s distance and bearing laid out spatially for quick stage awareness.
On-page shot entry for the active session. Each shot pre-fills with the calculated dope; adjust the actual drop and windage, tap to record, and build a history that feeds the truing table.
A practice drill timer with a random start beep, par time and shot splits. Record splits by tapping or automatically via the microphone shot detector — calibrate once per firearm.
Rehearse a multi-target PRS stage under the clock. Define the targets, positions and sequence, then run the stage and review your timing through the engagement.
A scoring target you tap to mark shots, with running totals fed to the shot log. Choose the scoring system and target face, plot each shot, and track your string score.
A shot-group scatter plot with group statistics. Measure via the photo-based group analyser and see your extreme spread, standard deviation and group centre at a glance.
